Description

This lean and flavorful turkey meatloaf offers a delicious twist on a classic comfort dish. By combining juicy ground turkey with aromatics like fresh onion and garlic, and binding it with protein-rich oats, we achieve a perfectly moist texture. Finished with a tangy, tart cranberry reduction that caramelizes beautifully, this meal is a wholesome, family-friendly choice for both festive gatherings and nutritious weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale

2 lbs Ground Turkey
1 cup Quick Oats
1 cup Yellow Onion, finely diced
1.5 cups Whole Berry Cranberry Sauce
3 cloves Garlic, minced
2 large Eggs
1 tbsp Halal-certified Worcestershire Sauce
2 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
Line a standard loaf pan with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, quick oats, diced onion, and minced garlic.
In a separate bowl, whisk together one egg, half of the cranberry sauce, and the Worcestershire sauce.
Fold the wet mixture into the turkey mixture until just combined.
Press the turkey mixture firmly into the lined loaf pan to remove air pockets.
Bake for 40 minutes on the center rack.
In a small bowl, mix the remaining cranberry sauce with the apple cider vinegar.
Spread the cranberry-vinegar mixture over the top of the loaf.
Bake for an additional 10 minutes to set the glaze.

Notes

Use 85% lean ground turkey for the best moisture balance. Ensure your Worcestershire sauce is marked halal, as some varieties contain anchovies or alcohol-based vinegars. This meatloaf stores well in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
