Description

A vibrant and healthy fusion dish that perfectly balances sweet, tangy, and savory profiles. Succulent chicken breast strips are marinated in a zesty honey-lime glaze and seared to golden perfection. Paired with a refreshing, handcrafted tropical mango salsa featuring cilantro and jalapeno for a hint of heat, this nutrient-dense meal is simple to prepare and offers a professional culinary experience at home.

Ingredients

Scale

1.5 lbs boneless skinless chicken breast, sliced into strips
3 tbsp raw wildflower honey
4 tbsp fresh lime juice
2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp sea salt
2 large mangoes, diced
1/4 cup red onion, finely minced
1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
1 small jalapeno, de-seeded and finely diced

Instructions

Whisk the honey, lime juice, olive oil, and sea salt in a small glass bowl until emulsified.
Coat the chicken breast strips thoroughly in half of the marinade.
Refrigerate the chicken for at least 30 minutes to allow flavor infusion.
Combine diced mangoes, red onion, jalapeno, and chopped cilantro in a medium bowl.
Drizzle the remaining lime juice over the salsa and toss gently; refrigerate until serving.
Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the marinated chicken strips to the skillet and sear until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side.
Serve the chicken warm topped with the cold fresh mango salsa.

Notes

Ensure the chicken is sliced into uniform strips to guarantee even cooking. You can substitute fresh mango with pineapple if preferred. Store leftovers separately in airtight containers for up to two days.
