1 lb lean ground beef (90/10)
2 cups elbow macaroni
2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
8 oz tomato sauce
1 cup beef broth
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 cup onion, finely diced
Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat until fully cooked.
Drain the excess grease from the pan.
Sauté the diced onion in the pan with the beef until soft and translucent.
Stir in the garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Cook the pasta in boiling salted water until al dente.
Combine the cooked beef mixture, cooked pasta, tomato sauce, beef broth, and half of the cheese in a baking dish.
Top with remaining cheese and bake uncovered for 30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and lightly browned.

Notes

Use a mix of cheddar and mozzarella for the best cheese pull. Substitute rotini or shell pasta if preferred. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
