Description

Ingredients

12 fresh jalapeños
8 ounces Cream Cheese, softened
4 ounces Brie Cheese, rind removed and finely diced
1/2 cup Fresh Blueberries, gently rinsed
2 tablespoons Fresh Cilantro, finely chopped
1 teaspoon Honey
1/4 teaspoon Garlic Powder
Pinch Salt
Pinch Black Pepper
1 sheet Frozen Puff Pastry, thawed
1 large Egg, beate


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice each jalapeño in half lengthwise and remove all seeds and membranes
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, diced brie, fresh blueberries, cilantro, honey, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined
  3. Spoon the cream cheese mixture into each jalapeño half, mounding it slightly
  4. Unroll the thawed puff pastry onto a floured surface and cut into 12 strips
  5. Wrap each jalapeño with a strip of puff pastry, spiraling downwards and sealing the ends
  6. Brush the tops of each popper with the beaten egg wash
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the pastry is golden brown and the filling is hot
  8. Let cool for a few minutes, drizzle with honey, and serve

Notes

Wear gloves when handling jalapeños to avoid irritation.

Thaw puff pastry in the refrigerator overnight for best results.
