Ingredients
12 fresh jalapeños
8 ounces Cream Cheese, softened
4 ounces Brie Cheese, rind removed and finely diced
1/2 cup Fresh Blueberries, gently rinsed
2 tablespoons Fresh Cilantro, finely chopped
1 teaspoon Honey
1/4 teaspoon Garlic Powder
Pinch Salt
Pinch Black Pepper
1 sheet Frozen Puff Pastry, thawed
1 large Egg, beate
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice each jalapeño in half lengthwise and remove all seeds and membranes
- In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, diced brie, fresh blueberries, cilantro, honey, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined
- Spoon the cream cheese mixture into each jalapeño half, mounding it slightly
- Unroll the thawed puff pastry onto a floured surface and cut into 12 strips
- Wrap each jalapeño with a strip of puff pastry, spiraling downwards and sealing the ends
- Brush the tops of each popper with the beaten egg wash
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until the pastry is golden brown and the filling is hot
- Let cool for a few minutes, drizzle with honey, and serve
Notes
Wear gloves when handling jalapeños to avoid irritation.
Thaw puff pastry in the refrigerator overnight for best results.
