Description

Valentine’s Chex Mix is a delightful, no-bake treat combining crunchy cereals, salty pretzels, and sweet white chocolate, adorned with colorful candies and sprinkles. It’s perfect for festive occasions and is a guaranteed crowd-pleaser that brings smiles with every crunchy bite.

Ingredients

Scale

5 cups Rice Chex cereal
3 cups Corn Chex cereal
2 cups pretzel twists or mini pretzel sticks
1 cup roasted peanuts or cashews
16 ounces white chocolate melting wafers or white chocolate chips
1/2 cup pink and red M&M’s or similar chocolate candies
1/4 cup Valentine’s themed sprinkles
1 tablespoon unsalted butter

Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Workspace: Lay out a large piece of parchment paper or wax paper on your counter
  2. Combine Dry Ingredients: In a very large mixing bowl, combine the Rice Chex cereal, Corn Chex cereal, pretzels, and peanuts. Toss to distribute evenly
  3. Melt the White Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the melting wafers and butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring each time, until fully melted and smooth
  4. Coat the Mixture: Pour the melted white chocolate over the cereal mixture and gently fold to coat evenly
  5. Spread and Sprinkle: Transfer the coated mixture onto the parchment paper and spread into a single layer. Sprinkle M&M’s and sprinkles on top while the chocolate is still wet
  6. Allow to Set: Let it cool until the chocolate hardens, about 30 minutes to 1 hour
  7. Break Apart and Serve: Once set, break into clusters and serve in a bowl or store in an airtight container
