Ingredients
- 5–6 bone-in skin-on chicken thighs
- 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
- 6 cloves garlic minced
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Optional: parsley for garnish
Instructions
1. Pat chicken dry and season with salt pepper.
2. Place skin-side up in 6qt slow cooker.
3. Add minced garlic around chicken.
4. Sprinkle brown sugar evenly on top.
5. Cook low 7-8 hours or high 4 hours.
6. Broil 2-3 min for crispy skin optional.
7. Garnish and serve.
Notes
Use bone-in thighs for best juiciness. No liquid needed—chicken releases moisture. Dark brown sugar adds deeper flavor. Store in fridge up to 4 days. Reheat with broth splash.
