Description
These red velvet cake Oreo cookies combine boxed cake mix with crushed Oreos and optional white chocolate chips to create a soft, chewy treat perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 1 box red velvet cake mix (15.25 oz)
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
- 10–12 Oreo cookies, roughly chopped
- ½ cup white chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, mix red velvet cake mix, eggs, oil, and vanilla extract until well combined.
3. Fold in chopped Oreos and white chocolate chips.
4. Use a cookie scoop to portion dough onto prepared baking sheets.
5. Bake for 9–11 minutes until cookies are set but soft in the center.
6. Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
Chill dough for 15–30 minutes for thicker cookies.
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
Freeze baked cookies or dough for up to 3 months.
