Ingredients
1 pound Elbow macaroni
6 tablespoons Unsalted butter
1/2 cup All-purpose flour
4 cups Whole milk
1 teaspoon Dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon Smoked paprika
1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg
Salt to taste
Freshly ground black pepper to taste
4 cups Shredded sharp cheddar cheese
2 cups Shredded Gruyère cheese
1 cup Shredded Parmesan cheese, divided
1 pound Cooked lobster meat
1 pound Cooked crab meat
1 pound Raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tablespoons Olive oil
1/4 cup Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
1/4 cup Panko breadcrumbs (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the pasta by boiling it in salted water until al dente, then drai
- Sauté the shrimp in olive oil for 2-3 minutes until pink, then remove and set aside
- Make the béchamel sauce by melting butter and whisking in flour, then gradually adding warm milk and seasonings
- Melt in the cheeses until smooth and creamy
- Combine the cooked pasta and seafood with the cheese sauce
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and transfer mixture to a greased baking dish
- Top with cheese and Panko breadcrumbs if desired, then bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brow
- Let rest for 5-10 minutes before serving, garnished with parsley
