Keto Homemade Twix Bars are a decadent, low-carb treat that combine a buttery shortbread base, a gooey caramel layer, and a rich chocolate coating, all while remaining sugar-free.
Ingredients
1 ½ cups Almond Flour
½ cup Powdered Erythritol
¼ teaspoon Salt
½ cup Unsalted Butter, melted
½ cup Unsalted Butter
½ cup Powdered Erythritol
¼ cup Heavy Cream
1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
¼ teaspoon Salt
2 tablespoons Sugar-Free Maple Syrup (optional)
1 ½ cups Sugar-Free Chocolate Chips
2 tablespoons Coconut Oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C) and prepare an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper
- In a bowl, combine almond flour, powdered erythritol, and salt. Mix in melted butter to form a dough
- Press the dough into the baking dish and bake for 15-20 minutes until golde
- In a saucepan, melt butter for caramel, then add erythritol, heavy cream, vanilla extract, and salt. Simmer until thickened
- Pour the caramel over the cooled shortbread and refrigerate until firm
- Melt the chocolate and coconut oil, then dip each bar and place on parchment paper
- Refrigerate until the chocolate has set
