Description

Grilled Honey Goat Cheese Pizza offers a fantastic twist on a classic favorite with a smoky char from the grill, creamy goat cheese, and a sweet drizzle of honey.


Ingredients

Scale

1 pound Pizza dough
2 tablespoons Olive oil
4 ounces Goat cheese, crumbled
1/4 cup Honey
1/2 small Red onion, very thinly sliced
2 cups Arugula
1/4 teaspoon Red pepper flakes
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
All-purpose flour or Cornmeal, for dusting


Instructions

  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat and clean grates
  2. Stretch pizza dough into a 10-12 inch shape, dusting surface with flour
  3. Drizzle one side of dough with olive oil
  4. Place oiled dough on grill, cooking for 2-4 minutes until golde
  5. Flip dough, drizzle with olive oil, and top with goat cheese and onio
  6. Grill for another 3-5 minutes until cheese is bubbly and crust is golde
  7. Remove from grill, drizzle honey over pizza, and top with arugula
  8. Slice and serve immediately

Notes

Use a pizza stone for an even crispier crust.

Experiment with different toppings and cheeses as desired.
