Description

This Easy Tuna Pasta Salad is a simple, refreshing dish made with pasta, tuna, and vegetables, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

12 ounces small pasta, such as elbow macaroni, rotini, or small shells
3 cans (5-ounce each) tuna in water, drained well
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup frozen peas, thawed
1 cup celery, finely chopped
½ cup red onion, finely diced
¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon salt, or to taste
½ teaspoon black pepper, or to taste


Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook according to package directions until al dente
  2. Rinse and Cool Pasta: Drain the pasta and rinse under cold water until cool
  3. Prepare Other Ingredients: Flake the drained tuna, chop the celery, red onion, and parsley
  4. Combine Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, combine the cooled pasta, tuna, peas, celery, onion, and parsley
  5. Add Dressing and Seasoning: Stir in mayonnaise, lemon juice, salt, and pepper
  6. Mix Thoroughly: Fold all ingredients together until well combined
  7. Chill and Serve: Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving
