Description

Easy Pesto Pinwheels are a delightful snack made with crescent roll dough, pesto, and cheese, providing a quick, crowd-pleasing appetizer for any occasion.


Ingredients

1 (8-ounce) tube Refrigerated Crescent Roll Dough
½ cup Prepared Pesto
½ cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
¼ cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
1 large Egg, beate
Pinch of Dried Oregano (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet
  2. Unroll crescent dough into a rectangle and press seams together
  3. Spread pesto over the dough, leaving a small border
  4. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the pesto
  5. Roll the dough tightly into a log
  6. Slice the log into 12 equal pinwheels
  7. Place pinwheels on the baking sheet cut-side up, spacing them out
  8. Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with oregano if desired
  9. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brow
  10. Cool slightly before serving
