Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 sandwich buns, toasted

Instructions

1. Heat olive oil in skillet; sauté onion and bell pepper until soft.

2. Add ground chicken; cook until browned.

3. Stir in garlic and Cajun seasoning; cook 1 minute.

4. Add tomato sauce, ketchup, Worcestershire, mustard, and brown sugar.

5. Simmer 10 minutes until thickened.
