Ingredients
2 cups Milk
2 tablespoons Cocoa Powder
2 tablespoons Sugar or to taste
1/2 cup Heavy Cream
1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Pinch of Salt
1 cup Large Marshmallows
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, whisk together the milk, cocoa powder, and sugar over medium heat
- Keep stirring until the cocoa powder and sugar fully dissolve, and the mixture is well-combined
- Stir in the heavy cream and vanilla extract, then add a pinch of salt
- Continue heating the mixture until it's steaming hot but not boiling
- Once heated, pour the cocoa into mugs
- Top each mug with a few large marshmallows
- Using a kitchen torch, carefully toast the marshmallows until golden brow
Notes
For a dairy-free version, substitute milk and heavy cream with plant-based alternatives.
Adjust the sweetness to your preference.
For an ultra-smooth drink, sift the cocoa powder beforehand.
