Ingredients
1 (8-ounce) package Cream Cheese, softened
1 (8-ounce) can Refrigerated Crescent Roll Dough
1 large Egg, whisked (for egg wash)
2 tablespoons Fresh Chives, finely chopped (optional)
1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper
Pinch of Red Pepper Flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper
- In a medium bowl, combine the softened Cream Cheese, Garlic Powder, and Black Pepper. Mix until smooth
- Unroll the Crescent Roll Dough and separate it into triangles
- Spoon about 1-2 tablespoons of the Cream Cheese mixture onto the wider end of each triangle
- Roll each triangle from the wide end toward the narrower point and pinch the seams to seal
- Place the rolled Poppers seam-side down on the baking sheet
- Brush the tops with the whisked Egg
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden and puffed
- Remove from oven, garnish with chives if desired, and let cool slightly before serving
Notes
Make sure to not overfill to prevent leaks.
