Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef or Italian sausage
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 3–4 garlic cloves, minced
- 24 oz marinara sauce
- 14.5 oz diced tomatoes
- 4–6 cups beef broth
- 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
- 8–10 lasagna noodles, broken
- 1/2 cup Parmesan
- Salt and pepper
- Toppings: mozzarella, ricotta, basil
Instructions
1. 1. Brown meat in skillet, drain, add to 6-qt crockpot.
2. 2. Add onion, pepper, garlic, sauces, tomatoes, broth, seasoning. Cook low 6-8 hrs or high 3-4 hrs.
3. 3. Last 30-45 min, add broken noodles. Stir in Parmesan. Serve with toppings.
Notes
Brown meat for flavor depth. Add noodles late to avoid mush. Refrigerate 4-5 days or freeze 3 months. Reheat with broth splash. Customize with veggies or spice.
