1 cup Full-fat Milk, at room temperature
2 tablespoons Fresh Orange Zest

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×5-inch loaf pa
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk
- Fold in the orange zest and chocolate chips
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clea
- Let cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes, then remove from the pan and cool completely
- Prepare the optional glaze by whisking together powdered sugar and fresh orange juice, then drizzle over the cooled cake
