Description
Chicken Pillows with Creamy Parmesan Sauce combines tender chicken wrapped in flaky dough pillows, smothered in a rich garlic-Parmesan cream sauce. Perfect comfort food for family dinners.
Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 sheet puff pastry or homemade dough
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups fresh spinach (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Sauté chicken pieces in olive oil until golden and cooked through. Set aside.
3. Roll out dough and cut into 4-6 squares. Place chicken in center of each, fold and seal edges to form pillows.
4. Bake pillows on parchment-lined sheet for 15-20 minutes until golden.
5. Melt butter in saucepan, sauté garlic 30 seconds.
6. Add heavy cream, simmer 2-3 minutes, then stir in Parmesan until melted and smooth.
7. Wilt spinach in sauce if using. Season to taste.
8. Drizzle sauce over baked chicken pillows and serve immediately.
Notes
Seal dough edges tightly with fork to prevent leaks.
Use rotisserie chicken for faster prep.
Freeze unbaked pillows up to 1 month; bake from frozen adding 5 minutes.
For lighter sauce, substitute half-and-half for cream.
Garnish with parsley and extra Parmesan.
