Cheesy Garlic Bread is golden, gooey, and easy to make. This recipe uses garlic butter, mozzarella, and Parmesan for the ultimate snack or side dish.
Ingredients
- 1 loaf French or Italian bread
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Pinch of salt and pepper
- Optional: red pepper flakes, oregano, or chives
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Slice loaf lengthwise into two halves.
3. Mix softened butter with garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper.
4. Spread garlic butter evenly over the bread halves.
5. Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
6. Bake for 10–12 minutes until cheese melts.
7. Optional: broil for 1–2 minutes for golden tops.
8. Slice and serve warm.
