Description
Golden, buttery puff pastry filled with creamy Brie cheese and tangy cranberry sauce. An easy, elegant appetizer perfect for the holidays.
Ingredients
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 6 oz Brie cheese, cut into small cubes
- ½ cup cranberry sauce
- 1 tbsp honey (optional)
- ¼ cup chopped pecans (optional)
- 1 egg, beaten
- Fresh rosemary or thyme, for garnish
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a mini muffin tin.
2. Cut puff pastry into 2-inch squares and press into muffin cups.
3. Add a cube of Brie to each cup and top with cranberry sauce.
4. Sprinkle nuts and drizzle honey if using.
5. Brush edges with egg wash.
6. Bake 12–15 minutes until puffed and golden.
7. Cool slightly, garnish with herbs, and serve warm.
Notes
Use homemade or canned cranberry sauce.
Freeze before baking for up to 3 months.
Add orange zest for a citrus twist.
